Caffeine is the world’s most popularly used nootropics. Over 80% of the world’s population consumes caffeine regularly. Many people are looking for a way to give themselves a boost of energy whether to perform well at a sport, stay up through the night to study for an exam, or to just make it through those tough days. Caffeine is also easily and readily available being that a number of plants naturally contain caffeine such as coffee, guarana, and green tea. We also see it so commonly placed in drinks, candies, energy bars, and just about any food you can imagine. However, caffeine can be considered a double edged sword because too much can cause brain fog, confusion, cold sweats, shaking and anxiety. NewCaff™ is a resolution to all that. Not only that, but NewCaff lasts about 12 hours long. In this article we are going to explain how NewCaff has the superior advantage over any other caffeine source on the market, how it works, and why we included it in our flagship product, THRIIV.
The benefits of NewCaff™ are similar to that of caffeine which may include increased energy levels, alertness, focus, mood, memory, and physical strength and stamina. Although the benefits of NewCaff surpass that of caffeine in a few ways.
1) Increased focus
At low doses, caffeine can produce focus enhancing effects, however, at higher doses it can cause a lack of focus. Because of the delayed and gradual delivery of caffeine levels, NewCaff™ is able to deliver a sense of calmness and focus even at larger dosages. This makes a big difference especially for people who engage in mentally demanding situations such as video gaming, sports, exams, or performances. To have energy, without focus with make one hyperactive, and can lead to spontaneous decisions, and more accidents. Having a calm clear mind allows people to apply the energy and motivation in a clear, concise and well thought out response to the environment. This level of thinking might just be the edge that one needs to put them in the top ranks.
2) No Crash
Along with coffee or energy drinks, people usually couple these with an expected crash afterwards. Especially for the case of energy drinks as they are combined with sugar, the body absorbs the sugar rapidly and along with it the caffeine. This rapid uptake of caffeine causes the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine, and noradrenaline to increase rapidly, much like smoking a cigarette. Afterwards, the drug wears off and the brain loses its ability to keep the neurotransmitters elevated. Then there will be a lack of dopamine, norepinephrine, and noradrenaline which will cause us to feel weak, irritated and tired. However, when it comes to NewCaff™ the neurotransmitters will gradually rise, and gradually lower. The sustained release will keep one from experiencing a caffeine “crash” after consuming NewCaff™.
3) Long Lasting
Regular caffeine lasts only about 6-8 hours. However, with NewCaff, caffeine will last much longer, usually around 12 hours. This extra energy can help you stay motivated and productive throughout the day.
4) Very Little Tolerance Buildup
Tolerance buildup is usually from your brain adapting to the surge in caffeine causing a change to it’s neurotransmitter levels. The brain will try to protect itself from any damage caused by the caffeine. Usually this damage occurs at a slight and unnoticeable level, but it is enough for the brain to want to protect itself in the future. The result is tolerance buildup. The way around it is to slowly administer caffeine so that the brain has time to adjust and maintain a healthy balance.
How it works
NewCaff™ is the child of a nanotechnology called microencapsulation. Caffeine molecules are covered by a lipid layer so that your body identifies it as a fat and sends it to the liver to be metabolized.
Once in the liver, digestive enzymes break down the lipids, slowly releasing the caffeine contained within. This process takes about 3 hours compared to 15 minutes with other caffeine sources.
As you can see, the caffeine is delivered at a sustained rate. To get a better understanding as to how this affects the brain’s physiology, we need to take a look at how caffeine affects your brain’s receptors. Caffeine is what is known as an adenosine receptor antagonist. Meaning that it inhibits the release of adenosine. Adenosine is like rev limiter on your car. When you push the gas down and rev the engine to the red line, the engine will stop momentarily so that it doesn’t explode. Fortunately by raising this bar, our brains don’t explode, but we can lose certain functions like the ability to sleep, relax, and may become anxious or even possibly irritated because of the uncontrolled neural activity. The brain, as well as the rest of the human body, is incredibly intelligent and proficient at keeping itself balanced. So when the adenosine levels are changed, the body will adapt. However, it takes some time. In that time frame, the brain will become significantly stressed. With a gradual onset of caffeine, the brain is able to adjust AS the caffeine levels increase, thus mitigating the stress on the brain.
Besides adenosine receptor antagonism, xanthines, including caffeine, have other biological actions: they inhibit phosphodiesterases, promote calcium release from intracellular stores, and interfere with GABA-A receptors. There are possibly many other secondary interactions that are undiscovered, but the main point is that it is best to make slow and gradual changes to these systems if one is to maintain long term brain health.
Keep in mind that there are other types of caffeine that are said to be slow release. Usually they come in the form of caffeine bound to another molecule such as reservatrol. However in our tests we have found that because these go through the same metabolic pathway as regular caffeine, that it really doesn’t make much of a difference. If a molecular bond was strong enough to last past the acid in one’s stomach, then it is strong enough to not be absorbed and be effectively used by the body. The bonded molecule could make it easier to digest, but in terms of nootropic abilities, there is no apparent additional benefit. So the only way to get a real sustained release caffeine so that you can optimize your daily energy, and your neurological health is to use microencapsulated caffeine like NewCaff™.
Well, you can’t buy NewCaff™ unless you are buying in bulk as a manufacturer, but you can get it in our product THRIIV to experience a full days energy with enhanced neurological effects. Caffeine itself doesn’t offer much in terms of nootropic effects besides alertness, energy and motivation. Especially when considering the side effects. That is why we combined NewCaff™ into THRIIV in such a way that it actually enhances blood flow, lowers anxiety, rebalances ones electrolytes via important neurovitamins and neurominerals. THRIIV also combines NewCaff™ with a number of other even more powerful nootropic ingredients to deliver a perfect balanced feeling that delivers so much more than just energy.
If you choose not to use THRIIV and feel a bit adventurous with your neurophysiology, then consider making your own nootropic stack to get the most from a supplement like NewCaff™. Although we highly recommend using a scientifically formulated supplement like THRIIV if you don’t have a solid understanding of neuroscience. To add a caffeine source to your stack, first, try to get a microencapsulated caffeine. If you can’t find it, then we would recommend going for Guarana Extract as it has been shown to have the best nootropic effects with the least side effects when compared to other regular caffeine sources.
NewCaff™ is the only caffeine source that we believe is safe and effective enough to be included in the THRIIV product. It actually took a bit of extra work and it was much more expensive, but with only so much room in a capsule, there was only one option if we truly wanted to create the world’s absolute best nootropic supplement.
